Who we are
Future For Her is an initiative founded for girls by girls. Future For Her is responsible for operating multiple workshops throughout the year with an entrepreneurial focus. We strive to provide young middle school age girls with knowledge about the business world and opportunities within it. During the school year, we partner with multiple middle schools in Philadelphia to provide their girls with free weekly workshops about business. During the summer, we partner with local universities and libraries to create free business camps for girls in the greater Philadelphia region.
Why
Did you know that only 27% of STEM workers are women? Did you know that one in three (32%) female entrepreneurs have experience sexism as a business owner, while one in five (19%) have also experienced gender inequality?

The goal of Future For Her is to inspire and teach. Firstly, we aim to educate young women that they CAN indeed compete in the business world by giving them a head start in their business career or by creating a passion for business. Secondly, we aim to reach underserved areas to give better opportunities to young women who might not have the resources or money to learn and have experiences like these.
